Martyn has a background in all facets of Operations Management with over 20 years experience running Manufacturing plants and more recently his own businesses. He is passionate about building the operational capability of organisations and eliminating waste in day to day activities – to use the industry jargon he is a Lean Manufacturing Specialist. As an Engineer nothing gives him greater pleasure than to see a manufacturing outfit operating like a Swiss watch. However, this means more than just finely tuned systems and processes. Sustainable improvement is also very much about developing a culture where people are enthusiastic, engaged, committed to the customer and the organisation, and always looking for better ways to do things.
